We thought we had lucked out with an exceptional deal at this hotel only to find that the reason it was so cheap was because our room was adjacent to a nightclub from 10p.m. to close too 2a.m. they had music blaring. The walls seemed paper thin we were on the 5th floor and could hear people down in the parking lot. I like to go to hotels to be able to sleep especially after traveling all day! Also we went to the restaurant Tiffanys my husband got sick from the food and they asked us to leave to sit in the reception area after we had paid for our meal because they were going home this wouldnt be a big deal to me except that the restaurant is open to the reception area with no doors or windows so us sitting there wasnt hurting anything. Also they seemed to harass us more than the older more quotdistinguishedquot looking table which they allowed to stay in the dining area. I would not want to return to this hotel.

We stayed here one night, the last night of our trip to California. We wanted a place close to the airport so we wouldn't have to hassle with traffic. This hotel is very close to the airport, not more than 2 min away. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable--some of the best I've ever stayed in. Room service was excellent and on time. We didn't ask for any drinks, but they brought water anyway (and no additional charge for it). The pool was much better than other hotels in the area (that I have stayed in). It was perfect for kids. Has an indoor/covered part and an outdoor part. You do have to pay for parking, but Valet parking is only slightly more ($ vs $), so I thought it was worth the convenience. They always had the car waiting when I called ahead before I left the room. One extremely minor issue was that they had reserved a room with a king size bed instead of 2 Queen beds. But they changed it immediately without any hassle.

My stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience. Room was clean, staff was courteous, and parking was convenient. I was able to get on the Internet to check my e-mails in a quiet environment. The next time I am in Irvine, I will be staying here again.

It is sometimes difficult to travel with young children, but they went out of their way to give us a great room and anything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. And Starbucks on site was a Life Saver!
