My visit to Newport beach was a wonderful trip.I really enjoyed it.My hotel was elegant and comfortable.Hotel employees were very cordial, caring and sensitive to our needs. I will stay in this hotel again.Also, I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.Thanks.Bye for now.

Found the hotel to be very comfortable but found a few surprises upon arrival to our room. Didn't realize there was a * dollar deposit if using a debit card. Not only that but the prices for room service was outrageous...with a * dollar delivery fee for each and every order, food OR drink...and then a * dollar gratuity that is automatically added whether you order food or drink. Also was surprised to find that they charge * dollars for a 1 liter bottle of Evian water. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

I enjoyed a very nice stay at the Fairmont. This was a business trip, but I stayed on through the weekend. The property is lovely, the rooms clean, and the beds LUXURIOUS!!!! I do not usually eat within a hotel, but since I was staying for a business event I sampled room service, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a few cocktail hours and parties. The food and drink far exceeded standard hotel fare. Niceties Less than 10 min from Orange County Airport Complimentary shuttle to and from airport Complimentary shuttle to Fashion Island, Balboa Island, among others Did I mention the BED? Beautiful pool area Gracious service The One and Only Disappointment No bar or restaurant poolside. We were able to make phonecall, but it was a good 20+minutes, as well as a $3-5 "service fee". Overall a wonderful stay at the Fairmont!!

Very nice hotel, well located although the entrance was a little difficult to see. Surprised to learn there was a $28/night valet parking charge (with no options if you had a car) which made the cost not such a good deal. Also, although I am a member of the President's Club they would not give us a late checkout (requested 2PM) Said they could only extend to 1PM.
